The unit powered on fine. Batteries are from 2013 and took about three or five hours to charge and then the unit showed a full battery symbol. Not sure how long they would last in the field. Servos where tested and both lat/horiz work fine. One thing is that the cord between the unit and the batteries was pretty rough, repaired it with electrical tape and it worked fine, but you may want to get a better one.
