Whether it be the tightest control survey, high volume construction staking or a boundary survey with 3 second angular accuracy and its rugged design the TCR803 is suitable for use in the toughest environments. Can stand up to any wet weather condition that can occur in the field, giving the benefit of not experiencing down time due to inclement weather. When using a single prism, you can measure as far as 12,000 feet at once or reflectorless measurement up to 900 feet. How to place prisms on roofs, bridges, high walls, tunnel ceilings or in trenches for foundations? With the Leica’s reflectorless technology you can forget the question. Just sight the crosshairs on your target and safely measure and store the values and coordinates. Ideal for measurements to benchmarks close to the instrument or to points on the ground in archaeological survey. Narrow visible laser beam is also used as a laser pointer; the EDM precisely measures the point the laser dot indicates. With on-board data collection capability, simple operations can be achieved by selecting the necessary functions, such as data collection, layout and memory manager routines from the main menu. LCD displays on each side of the instrument means you can shoot reverse angles easily. For enhanced operation in the field, the internal memory stores up to 12,500 points. Data communication to a data collector is possible with the RS232 interface cable. The laser plummet built into the standing axis makes centering and leveling easy. Leveling inaccuracies are automatically corrected by the built in biaxial compensator. Provides a liquid type dual axis compensator for vertical and horizontal angle compensation. This provides accurate elevation measurements, even if the instrument is not precisely leveled. These features combine to provide ultimate flexibility in many field applications such as Field surveying, City Elevation Work, Forestry Survey, Quarries Survey, Mining, Accident Investigation and so on.
