It belongs to Leica’s TC series TC200, TC400, TC600, etc. , which were widely used for land surveying and construction layout before robotic and GNSS-integrated total stations became standard. Angle Measurement Accuracy: approx. Distance Measurement (EDM): up to 3,500 m with a prism. Accuracy: ± (3 mm + 3 ppm). Display & Interface: simple alphanumeric display with keypad. Memory: limited internal storage for coordinates and measurements. Data Transfer: RS-232 serial port for connection to external data collectors. Power Supply: rechargeable battery packs. The Leica TC400 Total Station is still good for. Collectors – a classic Leica instrument from the early 1990s, valuable as a vintage surveying tool.
